Wallie in Hogwarts

It is very probable that Wallie the Imp has never told you that he was accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. If he did, I am certain he did not explain the truth about what happened there.

Wallie was the first Imp to ever be accepted to Hogwarts. He was very excited. He had already decided that he must be either a Gryffindor or a Slytherin, as he is a very courageous and intelligent Imp.

Wallie’s hopes were high when he sat under the Sorting Hat.

But he was not accepted into either Slytherin or Gryffindor.

Wallie, it turns out, is a Hufflepuff.

Wallie was terribly embarrassed. He decided he had better be an exceptional student to make up for it. He couldn’t reconcile himself to “Walle the Imp, of House Hufflepuff.”

Personally I think it fits him very well.

So Wallie tried very hard to impress everyone in Potions. Potions, he tells me, is definitely the hardest course at Hogwarts. If you can handle Potions, you can master anything.

But Wallie didn’t do well in Potions at all.

He just couldn’t stop eating the ingredients.

Wallie decided that learning things is not healthy for Imps.

He applied for a position as the castle’s resident Imp, but with a boggart already on the grounds, the Headmaster said he would add him to the waiting list.

Wallie told him he was quite happy to wait.

I told Wallie that I’m quite happy to keep the Headmaster waiting, too.

    • Wallie is glad to have you as a friend. Hufflepuffs need to stick together! He’s still working on securing that position at Hogwarts, poor thing. I hear the waitlist is very long 🙂
