It was the first time, and it wouldn’t be the last. Why the Imp and I had decided to draw Sherlock Holmes as a dinosaur beggared all explanation. He wasn’t even wearing a deerstalker.
Oh yeah. Believe it or not, this dinosaur was inspired by Sherlock Holmes.
And while there seems to be very little in common between this boy’s dinosaur friend and our favorite consulting detective, what I really tried to capture was that sense of sharp, analytical intelligence. Who knows? If Holmes had been a dinosaur, the dinosaurs may have survived. 🙂
At any rate, this kid seems to believe that if he doesn’t move the dinosaur won’t see him. I wonder where he got that idea…
