Wallie supposes it is a little late to say “Hello, November.”
Wallie the Imp has a sharp sweet-tooth, and his favorite holiday season definitely spans from October to December. He loves to go Trick-or-Treating because no one ever suspects him, and he always looks forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner.
Wallie the Imp loves Disney films.
He is driving my Friend and me crazy by going on and on about how unfair it is that Cinderella and Giselle, among others, have so much practical help from their animal helpers. He says it’s no wonder the villains are villains, when they get no encouragement from their non-human, inhuman friends to be socially active.
Wallie the Imp has always had a strange fascination for mad artists. I suppose he should. After all, he tells me he has personally met Byron, the Phantom of the Opera, and of course, Edgar Allan Poe. For the first and last, he tells me he was a creative muse. Continue reading “Wallie on Mad Poets”

Wallie the Imp is very excited about Halloween. In response to the Daily Post’s challenge on blending genres and styles, I decided to help him write an instructional guide on how to make your Halloween decorations happy in their new home.
This is fantasy from an instructional point of view.

Wallie the Imp has always been fascinated by “unreliable narrators”.
So am I.
Wallie likes Imps. Wallie is an Imp. Perhaps that’s his trouble.
When Wallie heard about the Daily Prompt from the Daily Post—writing nonstop without thinking for ten minutes—he was naturally very excited. He thinks he is a better writer than he is and is always eager to show off.
The problem is, he only writes in Impish.
Yesterday, Wallie and I met an Unkind Word.
It was not a very nice Word at all.
