Wallie the Imp has always had a strange fascination for mad artists. I suppose he should. After all, he tells me he has personally met Byron, the Phantom of the Opera, and of course, Edgar Allan Poe. For the first and last, he tells me he was a creative muse.

Wallie the Imp on Evil Accessories
(Wallie and the Evil Goblet) Wallie the Imp is very excited about Halloween. In response to the Daily Post’s challenge on blending genres and styles, I decided to help him write an instructional guide on how to make your Halloween decorations happy in their new home. This is fantasy from an instructional point of view.
Wallie the Imp in Ten Minutes
Wallie likes Imps. Wallie is an Imp. Perhaps that’s his trouble. When Wallie heard about the Daily Prompt from the Daily Post—writing nonstop without thinking for ten minutes—he was naturally very excited. He thinks he is a better writer than he is and is always eager to show off. The problem is, he only writes in Impish.
Wallie on Unkind Words
Yesterday, Wallie and I met an Unkind Word. It was not a very nice Word at all.
Wallie on Old Age
Wallie the Imp has a relative who visits him on weekends. He is very old and Wallie knows him very well. His visits always make Wallie worry about what it would be like to be an old Imp. Wallie on Best Friends in Low Places
Wallie the Imp and I were walking through campus to meet my Friend. Wallie has a marvelous skill for not being noticed by strangers, so I was able to keep him with me. Wallie on Difference-Making
With school semester underway, Wallie the Imp, my Friend, and I have given quite a lot of thought to our pasts, presents, and futures, and the people who have helped us get so far. Our parents and teachers figured prominently in our talk. My Friend and I wondered if we would ever make a differenceContinue reading “Wallie on Difference-Making”
Wallie on the Importance of Study
I have never been particularly good at math. I am, however, quite good at watching fantasy-related television. Wallie and I have been enjoying reruns of the show “Once Upon a Time” (a show that endlessly frustrates my Friend, for reasons I will not add even in footnote). The other day I compelled my Friend toContinue reading “Wallie on the Importance of Study”
Introducing: Wallie
What is a “Wentletrap”? That is what Wallie would like to know. This is Wallie. Wallie is an Imp.
